@ENERGY/Swing functions cover the following instrument types:
  • Swing on a single underlying asset contracts: Single period and strips of swing contracts
  • Nominated swing contracts: Nominated amount changes with swing exercise
  • Take-or-pay contracts: Contracts with constraints and penalties
  • Swing on spread contracts: Swing on the spread between two underlying assets (e.g., swing on the spread between two Gas Daily locations)
@ENERGY/Swing includes templates for specialized trades and assets such as natural gas swing contracts per season (e.g., Nov-Mar), upstream to midstream take-or-pay contracts and swing gas transportation contracts. FEA regularly expands instrument coverage and publishes new spreadsheet templates.
